Reflection: Chapters Tour 24
We are thrilled to share with you the heartfelt journey and resounding success of the recent HanVoice Chapters Tour titled "What Would You Ask North Korean Escapees?". This remarkable event spanned five days, and it was nothing short of an educational and emotional experience for everyone involved.
London - Toronto - Ottawa - Montreal - Vancouver
Through the powerful narratives of our courageous speakers, we delved into the lives of North Korean escapees. Their stories served as a beacon of resilience, highlighting their journey to freedom. Not only did their experiences provide us with a profound appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy, but they also stressed the importance of international advocacy in the fight for North Korean human rights.
Our gratitude extends to the four Voices of North Korea Youth (VNKY) escapees: Mr. Kim Il-hyeok, Ms. Han Shin-bi, Ms. Kim Eunju—who was with us virtually, and Mr. Pak Yu-sung. These remarkable individuals accompanied us across Canada from East to West, offering their firsthand accounts and fostering a deeper understanding of their homeland's current plight.
We are also excited to remind you of the ongoing "SNS Challenge," an initiative that encourages global voices to partake in raising awareness for North Korean human rights.
